On December 19, 2014, the manufacturer recalled certain lots of this product because the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) found it to be contaminated with lorcaserin (Belviq), a controlled prescription drug for weight loss that may result in cardiovascular complications, serotonin syndrome when taken with certain other medications, difficulty thinking, and hallucinations (28033). Advise patients not to take this product.
