This product has been discontinued by the manufacturer. On July 22, 2008, Health Canada warned that this product contains the compound tetrahydropalmatine, which has been associated with reports of hepatotoxicity, neurotoxicity, and other adverse effects including fever, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea (16613). Advise patients not to use this product.
