On July 5, 2010, the Hong Kong Department of Health and Singapore Health Sciences Authority warned that this product has been found to be contaminated with the prescription weight loss drug sibutramine (Meridia) and the laxative phenolphthalein, which has been linked to cancer (17473). Advise patients not to take this product. This warning pertains only to the capsule formulation of this product. The pellet form of this product, manufactured by the same company, was not found to contain these drugs.
