On July 4, 2016, Health Canada warned that this product was contaminated with sibutramine (Meridia), an unsafe drug previously prescribed for weight loss, and also the potentially dangerously laxative phenolphthalein, the prescription non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug diclofenac, and the anesthetic and antiarrhythmic drug lignocaine (91811). Advise patients not to take this product.
