Synbiotics Might Help Control Weight in Children

New research shows that taking synbiotics, a combination of probiotics and prebiotics, might help control weight in obese children when used along with diet and exercise. In addition to weight and body mass index reductions, this new research shows that taking synbiotics daily for one month also reduces total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein (LDL or "bad") cholesterol, and oxidative stress levels.
