There's controversy brewing over supplements containing the marijuana component cannabidiol, also known as CBD. Depending on the source of the CBD, whether it is extracted from medical marijuana or industrial grown hemp plants, makes the legality of its use in these products unclear, depending on where it is sold.
Natural Medicines currently includes 53 products containing this ingredient. Some of these include CBD Enriched Hemp Oil, Ultra CBD 400 mg, and Cibdex Drops 500 mg Tincture. Most are promoted for a variety of uses, including anxiety and insomnia.
