Dietary Supplements Increasingly Popular with College Students

A recent study shows that college students are more likely to take dietary supplements than the general public. Of 1,248 students at 5 different universities, 66% used supplements at least once per week, and 12% used 5 or more supplements on a weekly basis. The most commonly used supplements were multivitamins, followed by vitamin Cprotein/amino acids, and calcium.
