On June 17, 2014, Health Canada recalled this product because it was found to be contaminated with the prescription weight loss drug sibutramine (Meridia), which has been removed from the market due to safety issues, and phenolphthalein, a potentially dangerous laxative (24931). Advise patients not to take this product.
