On December 5, 2014, Health Canada recalled this product because it was found to be contaminated with the stimulants amphetamine and methamphetamine. In high doses these contaminants may lead to fatalities such as stroke and also adverse effects such as anxiety, hallucinations, and increased temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate (28029). Advise patients not to take this product.
